Call for Breakout Speakers Process

Thank you for your interest in submitting a presentation to be considered for the 2022 MISHRM CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION, October 19th – 21st, 2022 at the Devos Center, Grand Rapids, MI. If you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must complete the electronic submission form beginning January 10th and upload the required documentation by March 11th, 2022. There are no exceptions to this deadline. Programs that are likely to be approved for Business Credits are preferred.

MISHRM’s Conference Speaker Committee will then review the submissions, vet the speakers, and make selections. Our conference speaker committee will work with the selected speaker throughout the session development process to ensure compliance with the stated objectives and to avoid overt commercialism.

IMPORTANT: Please note that you will receive an email in early April indicating if you were OR were not selected to speak. We are looking for speakers on a variety of topics and our volunteer conference speaker committee is committed to selecting presenters that represent the topics/tracks as indicated above. If you were not selected this year, please consider applying in future years. All speakers who submit information will automatically be added to our call for speaker’s database for future years.

Best ways to be selected

We are looking for engaging and dynamic speakers that can present on the topics as listed above. We have only a limited number of submissions per topic, between 4-6 presentations per topic total. As we are limited by topic area, if you are, for instance a benefits provider, we would welcome speakers from other departments to speak on non-benefit topics. Our goal is to have timely, relevant, and emerging HR Management content for our attendees.

Platinum Resource Partners are given preference for speaking opportunities subject to approval by speaker committee and only when adhering to speaker application deadlines. For a full list of resource partner benefits, please click here. Please note that there will be no exceptions to late submissions beyond March 11th.
